An Eye for Detail
A Bit About Me
I am an aspiring scenic designer based in Denmark. When I'm not creating model boxes or making clothes, you can find me exploring East Asian performing arts and indulging in the serene art of tea ceremonies. As an aspiring artist, I'm always looking for new ways to grow my skills and knowledge, and I'm excited to see where my journey takes me.
Past Projects
Performed to Perfection
Lost in a Game
I did production design for a short film called "Lost in a Game". The story is about Lana, a software engineer who creates a virtual reality game to connect with the Internet through AI singularity. But, her obsession with technology may cause her to lose touch with her humanity. The film is structured around three different realities: Lana's personal experience, the VR game, and the consequences of her invention.
The Winter's Tale
I was the scenic designer for Theatre in the Garden's 'The Winter's Tale' at Summerhall in Edinburgh. Due to the low budget, I used materials from Queen Margaret University. One of the most significant pieces was a large painted floor cloth resembling tiles. With the help of a few assistants, we managed to cover up the original pattern. We also created props and painted abstract stone-like boxes.
'Pornography' A Play
At university, I worked on a group project where we designed a scene from the play 'Pornography' by Simon Stephens. As a designer, I created a model box, ground plan, mood boards, and a markup for the space. The group members acted, while two students directed. Despite focusing on a single scene, the project taught us valuable skills, creativity, and how to work in a confined space.
